Apple’s “New Thing” Will Decrease Back Pain

Apple is holding an event on tomorrow, January 19th to announce their new concept to improve the use of technology in education. It is believed to be centered on digital textbooks, specifically tools to help create interactive e-books—the “GarageBand for e-books,” so to speak—and expand its current platform to distribute them to iPhone and iPad users.

Now this is crucial, not because it can potentially wipe out the classic publishing industry, but rather because it will lighten students book bags! This in turn will help millions of kids and adults to take the load off their backs and help prevent repetitive use injuries. This can be huge and I’m glad Apple is finally listening to me…

Seriously, this can potentially be a big thing. If Apple can revolutionize this industry like they have many others, they can eliminate the publishing middle man. This will bring big cost savings, make it easier to be an author, minimize the difficulty of updating text books, and of course… Make it much, much easier to carry around a bunch of big textbooks.

I look forward to this upcoming announcement and hopefully the revolution of this industry. It won’t be easy for Apple but I’m looking forward to them lightening the load on our backs…
